REGISTER NOW: 2019-20 Summer Science Institutes

SSI Camps are currently open to GSP families and the public.  Register for "The Weather is Looking Up Camp" at Stanford University for elementary-aged students, "Today’s Innovations – STEM-Possible Camp" at Applied Materials for middle schoolers, and "Robotics Camp" at Amazon for high schoolers.  Register here

2018-19 Science Fair and Award Ceremony

Kudos to the over 90 participants of the 17th Annual GSP Science Fair and Awards Ceremony showcase event held on February 2, 2019 at Stanford University.

Our Awards event featured GSP families, friends, corporate sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and Science Fair judges as we awarded scholarships to our graduating seniors, and honored science fair participants.

Congratulations to all of our prize winners.  Thanks to all 80 volunteer judges who made this day possible, and we hope to see you again next year.

Upcoming GSP Science Fair & Expo

The 17th Frank S. Greene Scholars Science Fair & Expo and Gala will showcase and celebrate science projects with family, dedicated volunteers, and corporate sponsors on February 2, 2019 at Stanford University.  

2018 Summer Science Institutes Success

Thanks to the superb partners at Amazon, Stanford University and Stanford's SLAC, over 60 students were able to pursue projects at these amazing host locations being led by expert professionals.

GSP 2018-19 is Underway

GSP is enjoying another successful year of engagement in STEM.  We'll close out the year with more STEM activities, Career Day, Engineering Competition Day, and our end of year celebration.

Our Mission:  The Dr. Frank S. Greene Scholars Program helps youth of African ancestry in San Francisco Bay Area communities successfully complete higher education in science, technology, engineering and/or math (STEM), and serve as positive role models and contributors to their communities.
