A New Year of STEM Experiences

We look forward to this year of workshops, and STEM-enriching events for our scholars.  This only works with the tireless efforts of our parent volunteers and partnerships with professionals, educational, and corporate institutions.  Join us to help shape young minds in our mission to grow Black STEM professionals.

2023 - 24 New Scholar Application

The application period for 2023-24 scholars will open in February 2023.  Space is generally available for rising 3rd and 4th graders, with limited  availability for higher grades. Students entering 10th or a higher grade  will not be eligible to enter the program.  

Congratulations Graduating Seniors!

Congratulations to ALL of our 2022 graduating Seniors!!!  Our Greene Scholar family celebrates the end of a chapter for scholars that began with us in elementary school, and will continue on at universities, colleges, and careers across the country.  We look forward to all your accomplishments to come.

2022 Summer Science Institutes Success

GSP completed its SSI 2022 at San Jose State U, Bellermine College Prep, and Amazon, for elementary, middle and high schoolers.  Our summer camp themes included nature, the engineering design process, and laser application to fiber optics and the internet.  Thank you to our partner organizations and volunteers who made this a success!

GSP 2022-23 is Underway!

GSP is kicking off another year of engagement in STEM on August 20 with our Annual BBQ.  An agile GSP has worked all summer long to prepare workshops for our 160+ scholars this year. Thanks to the many parent volunteers who are stepping up to create wonderful learning opportunities this year for our scholars.
