EXTENDED OPEN: New Student Application 2020-21

Each year, GSP select a small group of high-achieving elementary and middle school students. Student must be of African ancestry from Bay Areas counties with an interest in science, math and technology.  Applicant must also currently be in 2nd-8th grade for the 2019-2020 school year. For grades 4th-8th, a very limited number of spaces are available.  Click here for applications for entrance into the program for 2020-21.  Deadline: March 23, 2020. 


Each April, GSP plans real-word STEM career experiences.  Calling all Volunteers to help inspire our scholars about all the varied contributions to be made in STEM fields.  We would like to introduce our students to members of the professional community that align with their area of interest, in hopes that these relationships will provide powerful inspiration and meaningful insight.  Click here to make a difference.

Our 18th annual scholar project competition was held on Saturday, February 1 at Stanford University.  Congratulations to all of our scholars, and thanks to all the Judges and volunteers who made the day such a success!

SSI Camps are currently open to GSP families and the public.  Register for "The Weather is Looking Up Camp" at Stanford University for elementary-aged students, "Today’s Innovations – STEM-Possible Camp" at Applied Materials for middle schoolers, and "Robotics Camp" at Amazon for high schoolers.  Register here
